D&R Custom Steel fabrication is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) to meet Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standard W47.1 division 2 for carbon steel, stainless steel and W47.2 for aluminum. Our company code under the CWB is DRCUS1. These standards ensure we provide consistent high quality welds that meets our customer's expectations. Our in house certified welding engineer and certified welding supervisor ensure our welders maintain these high standards. Welding procedures are developed in-house and reviewed by the CWB for certification prior to implementation.
Welder Fitter Certification
All welders and fitters at D&R Custom Steel Fabrication are tested and certified every two years by the Canadian Welding Bureau for a variety of welding positions and techniques.
Quality Control
At D&R, we have developed our own in house quality assurance procedures, which follow CSA-Z-299.3-85 standards. These procedures help ensure that the products we manufacture meet our customers needs and expectations. In addition we have a full time quality inspector on staff.
